Standard Partitions

 

  • Knauf Standard Partitions utilising C-Stud or I-Stud, may be specified with confidence for non-loadbearing partitions and use fast drywall construction techniques.
  • For both commercial and domestic partitions.
  • Versatile systems to meet nearly every performance requirement.
  • Minimum amount of components.

 

High Performance Twin Frame

  • Knauf Twin Frame non-loadbearing partitions provide exceptional sound reduction properties using fast drywall construction techniques.
  • Mainly used in the commercial sector (e.g. cinemas, auditoria and separating walls in apartments).
  • For very high sound reduction values
  • For very high fire resistance values.

 

 

Roomform & Roomform Quiet

Knauf Roomform and Knauf Roomform Quiet are non-loadbearing partitions and use fast drywall construction techniques.

 

  • Specifically designed for internal partitioning in domestic situations.
  • Very fast installation
  • High sound reduction values
  • Good impact resistance
  • Minimum amount of components
  • Creates strong and robust partition.

 

Separating Wall

 

  • Knauf Separating Wall is a non-loadbearing partition using fast drywall construction techniques.
  • Mainly specified for either separating one dwelling from another or separating a dwelling from a communal hallway or corridor, due to its high sound performance.
  • Specifically designed to separate one dwelling from another
  • High sound reduction values
  • High fire resistance values.

 

Metal Furring

 

  • Knauf Metal Furring can be used for most masonry backgrounds depending on the condition.
  • Where the background is uneven and not suitable for Knauf Direct Bonding
  • Where foil backed boards are used for the lining
  • Where insulation is not required within the wall lining void
  • Where only small service runs are required to be accommodated within the lining void
  • For a stand-off of 20 – 35mm.

 

Wall Liner

 

  • Knauf Wall Liner may be specified with confidence for application to most masonry backgrounds depending on the condition.
  • Where a variable stand-off clearance is required between lining and background of between 16 and 125mm.
  • Where background is out of true
  • Where insulation is required within the wall lining void
  • Where deep service runs are required to be accommodated within the lining void.

 

Independent 'I' Stud

 

  • Knauf Independent ‘I’ Stud may be used where the background is not suitable to receive other types of lining.
  • Where the wall lining is required to be completely independent of an adjacent wall structure
  • For measured fire resistance.
  • Where insulation is required within the wall lining void.
  • Where substantial service runs and ducts are required to be accommodated in the lining void.

 

 

MF Ceiling System

 

  • The Knauf MF Ceiling System can accept some degree of loading and is the more traditional form of application.
  • This system can utilise one or more layers of a wide range of boards depending on the performance required. The boards are fixed onto a lightweight metal framework of Knauf MF Ceiling Channels and Knauf MF Perimeter Channels.
  • The lightweight galvanised grid is suspended by either strap hangers or angle sections fixed to the structural soffit with soffit cleats.
  • The tapered edge boards can then be taped and jointed using Knauf Jointing Compounds and Accessories or alternatively a 2-5mm skim coat of Knauf MultiCover, Knauf Pro Board Finish or Knauf Universal Board Finish can be applied to achieve a more traditional plaster finish.

 

C-Form 1

 

  • The Knauf C-Form 1 Ceiling System can accept some degree of loading and uses fast drywall construction techniques.
  • For larger ceiling areas (50m² and over)
  • For spans over 4m
  • Where deeper ceiling voids (over 450mm) are required.

 

C-Form II

 

  • The Knauf C-Form II Ceiling System can accept some degree of loading and uses fast drywall construction techniques.
  • For smaller ceiling areas (less than 50m²)
  • For spans of 4m or less
  • When economy and simplicity of application are required
  • Where shallow ceiling voids (less than 450mm) are required.

 

Framed Steelwork Encasement

 

  • Knauf Framed Encasements are suitable for encasements of columns, beams and other structural steelwork.
  • Up to two hours fire protection is achievable
  • Enables the exclusive use of Knauf Fireshield throughout the building to make direct decoration quick and easy.
  • Knauf Fire Moistureshield offers moisture resistant qualities with the same level of fire protection.
